Retort Pouches
A retort pouch is a flexible, heat-resistant packaging container used mainly for ready-to-eat and shelf-stable foods. Food is filled into the pouch, hermetically sealed, and sterilized using a high-temperature retort process (commonly around 121°C) to destroy microorganisms and extend shelf life without refrigeration.
